The Gift Chapter 2

“The will of the one will affect the commonality of the few.”

Justafa spoke this to David.

“Thou art now the speaker of them all does this now reign true among them all?”

Justafa spoke: “It doth. It is the thought that the humankind might become infected should “Jurist” be merged too long.”

“Speak not of this, for the will has become his and given the wisdom to one by the Father, has been the wisdom given to all.”

“Go forth Justafa and do the Fathers will for now wisdom shalt be the guiding light for Jurist and I pray that like humankind that Jurist is found in that wisdom.”

David circled the earth carefully placing his feathers to the sun as to create the illusion of what humankind calls fog.

You see when an angel in high command fly’s down to earth it is known by the Father, and the Father must guide them, for they are open to the most horrible of evil, for they are chosen to BE by the Father.

Only under the cloak of illusion of what humankind calls fog can they not be detected by evil when descending upon the earth.

It is not upon this asking that David needed this cloak, but David needed to see Jurist in mergence with the human Phillip.

He knew that it was forbidden to communicate with Jurist during this merge, but he just had to see the human to see. He could not finish his thought. He just had to see.

David appeared in Phillips bedroom and as he watched this mortal he sensed the duality in him lying there sleeping at peace as night draws mortals into a memory they know but can’t even imagine accepting, so they call them dreams.

Being careful not to linger too long David spoke not a word as he looked on at his friend dwelling inside this mortal Phillip, knowing that they together held the fate of time and free will. Jurist because he chose such a task and should he not disembark from the human within 72 of their hours what calamity would befall upon the earth. Then the human because what he will feel upon the unauthorized merging with an angel. Would he not want to let go of the bliss that life from within him should feel like as humans say “like he could touch the sky.”

As David’s cloak of what humankind call fog began to lift, he knew that it was time for him to take his leave. David prayed silently into the dawn for his friend and the human known as Phillip then he raised his wings in front of his face and vanished into a ray of light as the sun began to rise.

Phillip awoke to the light of morning with a huge smile on his face. He wasn’t sure why he felt so happy, but it was a feeling of comfort in his life, and it felt like it came from deep inside his soul. He had never felt such contentment, but he just went with it.

He got dressed for work and still kept smiling. He didn’t hate his job, but he never felt so good about getting ready for work before and it wasn’t even nowhere near pay day.

Phillip left his apartment still feeling amazingly happy. He stepped out into the early morning May sun and as he walked to the bus stop he found himself noticing every bit of earth and nature and the beauty of it all around him like he had never seen or thought to see before. Phillip was so amazed that he had never had such a sense of awareness of nature. It made him feel like he was reaching out to the world and it was smiling back at him.

He could not entirely ingest why he was feeling this way. It was so overwhelmingly beautiful to him that it made him ache inside and yet he could and would allow himself to feel. He passed by a tree, and as the leaves brushed across his forehead, he felt an overwhelming need to reach up and touch, to feel the leaves, to communicate back the feeling of goodness that the leaves had given him.

When the bus pulled up, he stepped inside. He looked around at all the people sitting as he continued to smile he wondered two things to himself. The first thing was if the people on the bus thought that he was nuts because of the big smile on his face and second if they only knew how wonderful he felt inside? He just wished that he could share this sense, this comfortably yet overwhelming feeling of living with everyone sitting on that bus.

  1. “The Gift” is very interesting and very different. I love its spirituality and uplifting sensuality. A sense of heavenly cleansing that makes one embrace the ills of earthly living and an appreciation for ones own surroundings. A different direction and a good start. Keep up the good work.
